Overview
The Khumbu Three Peaks expedition is an elite mountaineering program designed for those seeking a step beyond trekking into the world of high-altitude climbing. This 27-day odyssey targets three of the most iconic “trekking peaks” in the Everest region: Island Peak (6,189m), Pokalde Peak (5,806m), and Lobuche East (6,119m). By combining these three summits into a single itinerary, climbers gain superior acclimatization and technical proficiency while traversing the high-altitude landscapes of the Khumbu Valley.
The journey is meticulously structured to ensure safety and success, utilizing the scenic Gokyo Valley and the challenging Cho La Pass as an acclimatization foundation before attempting the summits. Unlike standard trekking routes, this package offers a deep immersion into the technical aspects of Himalayan climbing—including fixed-line navigation and crampon use—supported by a high guide-to-client ratio. It is a profound test of endurance and spirit that rewards adventurers with unparalleled views from the literal rooftops of the world.

Lobuche East and Island Peak are technical challenges involving fixed ropes and steep snow. Pokalde is more of a rocky scramble but still demanding due to altitude.
During the trek, you stay in teahouses. During the climbing phases (Base Camps and High Camps), you will stay in high-quality mountain tents.
Guides carry supplementary oxygen and a medical kit for emergency use only. These peaks are typically climbed without personal bottled oxygen.
Yes, professional-grade climbing gear (boots, harnesses, ice axes) can be rented in Kathmandu or Namche Bazaar if you don’t wish to bring your own.
