Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa, the Chairman and Founder of Vertical Himalaya Treks and Expedition, is a seasoned mountaineering and adventure tourism professional from Nepal. Born in the Everest region, he grew up in the heart of the Himalayas, where the challenges of mountain life instilled resilience, determination, and a deep love for adventure.

For the past 30 years, he has worked in the tourism industry as a guide and trek leader, leading countless journeys across Nepal’s mountains. The experience he gained from working continuously in the field, together with the advice and suggestions of his clients, inspired him to establish his own company. His vision was to create a trusted platform that not only delivers safe and memorable adventures but also promotes sustainable and responsible tourism.

Beyond guiding, Mr. Sherpa has dedicated himself to social development, health and education initiatives, environmental conservation, and community welfare projects.
